Great first adult bike, June 13, 2011 By Lee Barnett (New Orleans, LA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Huffy 26-Inch Men's Arlington Bike (Charcoal) (Sports) All in all, for being a cheap bike, it works great.
I biked a lot when I was a kid, but when I was in high school I pretty much drove everywhere. I now go to university in a very biking-oriented city, and needed to purchase an adult bike. Since I've put the bike together, it's served me well and I've used it daily for commuting without too many mishaps.
The one problem I've had with the bike, which actually may be due more to my shoddy assembly than its actual quality, is that from time to time, certain pieces of the bike come loose. After it happened a few times, I bought a foldable set of allen wrenches to keep in my backpack and when it happens now, I just stop for a second and tighten whatever's loose. It sounds like a bigger problem than it is-- most people check their tires and brakes before they ride anyway; I just have to take a little more time to check for loose bolts.
This bike is great for any adult on a budget who needs to commute across... Read more

Looks nice but have to 'True' both wheels right out of the box, July 8, 2011 By cybershopper "amazon junkie" (Macomb Twp, Michigan USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Huffy 26-Inch Men's Arlington Bike (Charcoal) (Sports) The ocmponents of this bike look great. Was simple to assemble. Bot tires have serious 'wobble' in them. I'm in the process of 'Truing' them, then I feel the bike will be nice. I'll add more later if I run into any problems, otherwise assume all else on the bike works well.

It does its job, October 31, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Huffy 26-Inch Men's Arlington Bike (Charcoal) (Sports) So it's a bike and kind of inexpensive, but there is significant resistance while peddling and, even after extensive adjustment, the rear derailleur constantly makes an annoying clicking sound. Like another reviewer mentioned, one of the wheels (rear) was not straight, making the brakes hard to adjust. I would have returned it, but it just got stolen.
That said, it got around well and did it's job, and the shocks on the bike actually worked well. Maybe the problems would have gone away after a bit of time.
